Novelist and musician John Byrne Cooke reveals another talent on his new website - http://www.cookephoto.com/ . Especially for those of you who remember the 1960s (supposedly meaning you weren't there) will enjoy a return visit by way of John's photographs. Road manager for Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, John kept a camera handy and kept clicking away. The site features photgraphs of acts such as Joplin, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Jimi Hendrix, and Doc Watson. There are also photographs of the improvisational satirical review called The Committee, the coast of California, Paris, and other world scenes. Interested viewers can purchase prints through the web site.
